Walking the Dog -19

October has arrived and it really felt autumnal today, colder but with some sunshine.
No time to plant my Spring bulbs on Saturday and after coming home from a pub lunch yesterday l just didn’t want to.
So today it was the opportune time to do the deed, funny if you’d ask me how many bulbs l was going to plant l would have estimated a few dozen but when l saw the ones l had lifted and stored over Summer and the ones l had recently purchased it came to a few hundred.
Emptied some planters as the bedding plants were past their best and refilled them with bulbs.
Ran out of compost for the last fifty or so tulips so that needs remedying.
After some home made soup using the bits and bats of last week’s veg we went to the gym and l shocked Mr P by signing up for a contract for twelve months. I’ve given it a good try on a pay as you got go basis and though l will never be a gym bunny l have felt stronger and fitter for going.
I know it makes sense.

Dog walker this morning obviously felt the colder climes as l see he had his hands in his pockets or is that his usual habit?
I would find it hard to walk and control a dog on a lead if l adopted such a style.
