Lisbon, Portugal

I wasn’t excited to come to Lisbon. I tend to like smaller towns and villages and don’t like to worry about thievery. But, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Lisbon and how easy it is to get around. We covered a lot of territory today and the views from the Castelo de Sao Gorge were perfect early this morning. I did get sucked into a scam from a guy who wanted to “give” me a necklace and put it around my neck even though I refused vehemently. When the whole thing was said and done it cost us 7 euros. The necklace was probably worth 50 cents.
Grateful today for...trolleys on these steep hills. So glad we are not driving in Lisbon. It’s CRAZY.
