Cosy
A chilly afternoon and what could be more cosy than curling up in front of a real fire?
Ok ok – a real gas fire is close enough (and NO ashes to empty!!).
Took this with the new telephone, but worked on it in PS. I thought the sepia effect was far more cosy than b&w so I gave it an ‘old photo’ edge as well.
The pictures are Mrs W’s work. She’s just getting into pastels. The cat on the left of the mantelpiece is a Serval from where our lad works. The cat on the right is our old cat Jerrath who we lost a few days before we moved here fifteen years ago, and the two dogs our lovely German Shepherds; Jason (the black one) and Topsy (we didn’t name her, she was that when we got her as a friend for Jason, and never renamed her – well she was 20 months old so we thought it a bit late). We lost them some thirty years ago, but they are still dear to our hearts.
We are too old to take on another dog ourselves, but Biskit gives us a lot of pleasure (as do the grandchildren . . . ).
Thanks to Nickimags888 for hosting MonoMonday this month.
