Snug As a Bug in a Rug

No one says that any more, do they?

Anyway, this would be more accurately described as Cosy as a Cat in a Quilt ......

Douggie made himself comfy on the sofa, as there was no-one around to disturb him. We were garden hacking in the morning. TM found a butternut squash in the vegetable garden!  Rather small, but not so small that you wouldn't bother to eat it.  We don't manage to get any as a rule.  We also discovered that the grapes on the  vine are edible. The fruits of a long hot summer.

It rained in the afternoon, so I got some more sewing done and TM had a trip to Screwfix, his happy place.  

It's grey and chilly now, but the stove is on.  All of us are cosy - which happens to be the theme for Mono Monday today.
