Run rabbit ....
I heard a high pitched screaming, turned round and saw one of the cats with a baby rabbit in her mouth. It took a bit of persuading to get her to let go. We made a trade off - if she let go of the bunny, I’d let go of her tail ...
I put it in a bucket with a bed of hay to burrow in and left it for a while. It seemed to perk up after a rest, so I released it back out into the field when I’d finished work. Hopefully it was able to find it’s family by the end of the day ( it was only 11am when I released it ).
The cat hasn’t spoken to me since!
