Wen Hui/Living Dance

This was an amazing performance at the Tramway - for one night only. The background to this documentary/dance performance is one of the official cultural works which was performed during the  is the Chinese Cultural Revolution . It was a fusion of Western ballet techniques with Chinese classical & folk dance traditions. Interviews with original cast members & audience helped to paint the picture.
