Sloe Berries.

Number 4 of my berry series.

These are the fruit of the Blackthorn and are used to make Sloe Gin, they are found in most hedge rows and, traditionally, are picked after the first frost. Today would be an acceptable day because there was frost on the ground when I got to work.

I finished weeding the gravel and started on the jungle borders which surround it. After finishing there I cut some grass close to home then sharpened the mower blade before going to meet a man who might be able to do some work with me if the occasion arises. He was a nice guy.
