Blue Trees

From the color of autumn to this electric blue. The Currier Museum’s latest exhibit. The artist is Konstantinos Dimopoulos. An environmental community art installation. It was Parent respite night but last week I did help paint one of these trees. Done to promote awareness of global deforestation while enlivening the city. It’s biodegradable and not at all harmful to the trees. There are many many of them around the museum and around the city. The trees will return to their natural color over the course of several months.
