Beijing - Day 2

Today was the "wives"  all day conference,  and no photos were taken, hence some pics from the Hutong.

The young lady walking in the extra photo was the lady who facilitated the wives' discussion.  It was extremely interesting to learn about the ethos of the CFO Centre and the way they run their business.  We learnt the 'lingo' so to speak and can understand better what our spouses are talking about.  Little did I know that we'd have to put into practice some of the important things we learnt as soon as we got home with a certain situation!

Anyway, I feel better informed and have a good understanding of the business practices and I'm just grateful for the opportunity to learn.

Dinner was at another fabulous restaurant where sadly many people didn't even touch the food. There wasn't even anything 'weird' as such, but some people just were not adventurous.  It was sad to see so much food waste.

Needless to say, Martin and I enjoyed it and realised how accustomed we've become to most Chinese food.
