Samphire Hoe

When you're out on the road a lot, it's a real perk of the job to see something interesting and think "oooh, I'll go and check that out..." and so it was today after a lovely appointment in Dover.

In need of a brew and a comfort break, there was this curious turn-off from the A20 which took you down through a tunnel and out to Samphire Hoe on the other side. 

It was very quiet with only a couple of cars around and despite a strong wind whipping around it was surprisingly mild. I had a wander down closer to the sea front and happened across this stunning view.

I couldn't stay too long unfortunately and would have liked to have seen more, however if you're ever down that way, it's worth checking out.
