Chesterfield Gasometer

Looking up rather than across.

Went to Chesterfield today for about 4 hours and then came back again. Needless to say apart from the inside of a Wetherspoons (complete with drinkers at 0800) ,a distant view of the crooked spire and of course the old gas site I was working on that was all I saw of it. I have been many times before though to do monitoring work on the Linacre dams.

I did have others with the sky in, but seeing it was about to waz it down it was not a particularly enchanting prospect and I also preferred the slight optical illusion of this.
