In Brief, for once...

Simple Pleasures

I knew today was going to be hectic, and so it was. Compounded by the fact we slept in till 7am, I hit the ground running.
Lunch made, kid delivered to school bus, straight back , dog interred in room, letters written, out the door to work, lessons taught, earthquake drill at school accomplished with no major cock ups, out for lovely lunch with lovely friends, driven to God knows where to this lovely coffee shop in the mountains, back to pick M up from bus, drove home, on train to Itsukaichi to pick up rental car, waited for friend, drove back, got bus into town, ate Thanksgiving dinner, drank bottle of wine with friends, tried to go and see Dreaminations, Hiroshima's illuminations, and they literally switched them off exactly as we turned into the street.
And home.
Busy busy, with a mix of things I had to do and wanted to do. That's life.
The lovely coffee shop I will never ever find again by myself was a lovely late birthday gift from a good friend. An oasis of calm style in my whirlwind day.
Thankyou Miho for taking us!
