Valley of Rocks

Another day of much beauty.  We drove to Lynton this morning, and to Valley of Rocks, which was stunning.  Had a good clamber round some of the rocky bits, and a short walk along part of the coast path.  Sat on a bench with a beautiful view to eat our lunch, then wandered back to the car.  Carried on through Exmoor to Tarr Steps, and did the short circular walk there, over the clapper bridge and along the river.  So pretty!  The sun came out, too, unexpectedly, which made everything even more beautiful.

Drove back to Ilfracombe and had another much-needed quiet night in (am still soooo knackered!), with a tasty meal cooked by Tim.
