"I've Never Known A Night Like It"

Today's photo reminds me of sunnier days in August in Hawaii.

Today we see Britain at it's best, gale force winds, horizontal rain, dark and dismal. Trees uprooted, roads flooded, walls blown over, trains and buses not running, roads closed, rain coming through supermarket roofs, in short chaos.

It's not like this is a rare occurence, it's the countries total inability to prepare or cope when it happens. The east coast of the States will recover from their hurricane before we recover from our "strong winds"

I'm still feeling unwell, no running since Monday, it's been a long week so far.
