Totem-tastic

Spent a large part of today at the Royal British Columbia Museum. We only managed to get around the galleries about First Peoples. They were fascinating, especially the part about language. There is a fantastic collection of totem poles both inside the museum and just outside it in Thunderbird Park.

We then took a walk out to the lighthouse at Ogden Point. Although it was sunny today, it was hazy, so there was no real view of the Olympic Mountains but we did see seals and the sea air was lovely.
