the last picture show

I hadn't thought about blip today until I was getting supper ready.  I even thought about giving it a miss, until I saw the evening sun on the cotoneaster bush.  

I grabbed my Fuji compact and ran outside.  Got a shot and then as I was about to change one of the settings the camera died on me.  I swapped the battery and same thing.  Zilch.  Dead.  

I put the memory card in the computer and this is what the camera recorded before the screen went black.  Perhaps it was telling me something.
