The Nights are Drawing In
I decided to cycle to work today as it was lovely and sunny and not very windy. The only problem was that I didn't have much time, as normally I decide the night before if I'm going by bike so that I can get everything ready. So by the time I left it was already after 9am and ideally I need to be at work by 9.45am so that I've got time to freshen up and get changed. I pedalled fast with Betsy giving me a bit of a boost and I made it in time, although I didn't have any time to stop to take photos on my way!
My ride home was a bit more enjoyable as there wasn't the rush to get there, but as the night's are starting to draw in I wanted to go down to the beach to watch the sunset. Alan was working from home today, so we had an early dinner and then we got down to the beach in time to see this.
In other news, Harry & Megan have been to Brighton today for their first official visit as the Duke & Duchess of Sussex. This morning they were in Bognor and Chichester which are in West Sussex, and then this afternoon Brighton and Peacehaven. They drove through Saltdean where we live as Peacehaven is just a little further along the coast. I'm disappointed that they chose to come on a day that I was in work, as I'd have loved to have seen them.
