SQUARE DE MEEÛS

This is a lovely space - it's got a lot of magnificent mature trees, including the biggest ginkgo I ever saw.

I pass by every time I go to the workshop & it brings loads of fond memories...

I used to go out with a certain De Meeûs - daughter of Monsieur le Compte.

I used to call her "Frogs" - as in "crazier than a box of" - & she liked this & called me "Ogato do mar" - she was into the Portuguese...
