Flat out

After a day of rather tedious admin. and domestic stuff, it was nice to accompany MrM to the pub in Belford this evening. He played fiddle at the Irish music session, while I caught up with Anne and Malc, long-time friends from Wakefield who are here on holiday.

This is one of the pub's two resident spaniels - they both seem very happy mingling with the customers, checking under the tables for possible tasty morsels, and having the occasional nap.
