Kuku the Kereru

We have had this beauty nearly 6 weeks. Kuku is still making progress, a little each day. Today she decided she was going to escape. She did, and ended up hanging upside down in a tree!!! At least we know she can fly(luckily not very well). She is happily back in the aviary, and beginning to eat well on her own.
