Matai Falls

Not the perfect view but when you've left your tripod shoe at home you have to make do with whatever sturdy surface is on offer.  This time it was the platform railing - so at least I didn't have to do any mad sprints to save the camera from waves like I did at Moeraki the other day.

We headed back up to Lake Waihola this afternoon.  Rain the whole way, but we really can't complain as its the first rain we've seen since Sunday.
