Newark Castle

Had a meeting in Nottingham today with work which meant travelling up and down in the day. The price of a ticket on the plane was frankly ridiculous so I took the train which meant a few changes on the way down and back. Fortunately for me, the return journey required me to walk from Newark Castle station to Newark Northgate. On the way I crossed over the River Trent and at the corner of the town sits Newark Castle.

The sun started to set on and lit up the river and the sky in a fantastic orange colour and I was so glad that I had taken my little point and click Canon down with me to capture this.
