Steam train

Today’s outing was a walk followed by a steam train ride and then a walk back to our hotel and our drive home. The train ride was from Parkway to Lydney and very delightful it was too. The highlight of our morning walk was about a dozen wild boar who were roaming the forests munching on acorns. The afternoon highlight was the warmth of the sunshine and a walk past the local lake. Unfortunately, our journey home was marred by an accident on the M5 Motorway but we weren’t held up for too long.
