PASS !

Still felt ropey today so phoned in sick (I NEVER do this!) - head bursting all day. Rallied by lunchtime and made some Raisin Bread for the girls (a wee River Cottage recipe that always goes down a treat).

No 2 phoned me to tell me she had passed her Cello exam - this is a BIG thing! She was very reluctant to sit it, as she is painfully nervous at her cello exams - and I was the worst mother in the world because no one else was being made to do it. Childline were even mentioned during one shouting match and she was NEVER sitting another music exam again. After the exam she told me how terrible it was.

But she ended up with a Merit and she was chuffed to bits (I knew she would do well - she practised so hard for it). In fact she was annoyed that she didn't get 3 more points for a distinction, and now she's talking about sitting her Grade 3 in March (not sure my nerves can handle it).
