Godwits

A couple of Bar Tailed Godwits, with just the faintest reminder of their bright summer plumage, down on the beach this afternoon. Always great to see them down on the water's edge, despite the disturbance of passers-by and dog walkers. I guess the food to be had must be worth the hassle.
