Burgundy

Our colleague in finance Lawrence (far left) is leaving Cambridge to take up an accountancy position in another NGO, so it was his leaving do this evening. We realised that Tracie, Hannah, Jasmien and Roger were also all wearing splashes of burgundy.

The night gradually became more debauched from the innocent activity of comparing colour swatches. My longstanding colleague Matt says he remembers a Vietnamese birthday meal in 2008 which was bring-your-own-booze, at which I brought along an 8-pack of Fosters and sank them all. I don't have much recollection of this, but back on the Hooch tonight I realised my tastes haven't developed much more sophistication in the last decade...
