America's Mountain

That is the nickname for Pikes Peak, the 14,000 foot mountain we see from our home, because in 1893 Katharine Lee Bates wrote the song "America the Beautiful" after seeing the view from the top.
Anyway, here it is at sunset tonight sporting a new dusting of snow. I guess Fall is really here.
And thank you all who sent prayers and good wishes for my quick recovery from a nasty cold. Both hubby and I have turned the corner, no cold symptoms and most of our energy is back!
