At How Caple: Wet wood x

Busy day again. Wood deliveries were back to back. I guess the rain is increasing sales. People are like field voles. Loading up their stores and burying themselves away. I guess the field vole, has a rough time at the minute though. No fun having your home washed out!

I like the shape and contrast of wet (Green) wood though.The shiny bark is very clever at keeping out the wet. This felled wood is waiting to be split and sold. Its form and shape is temporary on the stack, at this stage. Its now so very far removed from its strong upright form in the forest. Purpose to warm wet houses and wet hands.....x
