Cosmos and bee

A bit of a strange day weather wise as we woke to a hazy sky with dark clouds to one side and the sun attempting to break through in the opposite direction.  It seemed to hang around like that for some time.  We headed to a local supermarket and temperature slowly rose.  So its been a warm day.

I popped down to the allotment in the afternoon where there are still a few Cosmos flowering and a few bees making the most of the last flowers.  I had hoped there would be no more white butterflies around so I could safely remove the netting on the Brassicas but there were a few flitting around.  A few courgettes harvested along with the turnips, some spinach and lots of rocket.
