Seville
Such an early start _ left the house at 3am got to the shambolic Flying Scot to drop car off and arrived at Cafe Nero for our usual pre flight coffee and pastry sitting for a short time till we were called to our gate. It waS a brand new Easyjet plane that took us south and three hours later we were in Sunny Seville.
Taxi to our apartment for three nights in the Triana side of the Guadalquivir river with the centre of Seville over the Isobel Bridge not far from our apartment.
We met Manuel the owner at 11am and he talked to us about the areA, some historical facts and generally made us feel so welcome in his beautiful and well kitted our apartment - it was like Home from Home but with the air con on there instead of heating!!
He left us to it and we unpacked and had a wander over the bridge. Had to return though as a mix of high temps and tiredness meant I was on the edge of collapse so I had a couple of hours sleep. They do recognise the Siesta here as the temps were still in the high 30s (and would be all week). I woke up around 6 screaming where my rings were a recurrent nightmare haha!
We stayed local in Triana and found a place to eat. Not for long though as the early start and heat caught up and we were in bed and sleeping by just after 10.
