Decay

This fading sunflower was en route to the compost heap when I suddenly thought it might do for Flower Friday.
 
It’s a month since I had knee replacement surgery and there is no sign of the pain diminishing so I rang the Golden Jubilee hospital Helpline.
 
The nurse is shocked/horrified to learn that I am only taking two tramadols for pain relief and told me to double it immediately.
 
No wonder I have not been able to do the full quota of exercises each day- twenty minutes four times a day.
