~Seed Pods~
~Hesperaloe Parvifora~
This is a black and white study of the Red Yucca's dried seed pods. I have photographed this desert plant many times, I'm so fascinated with it because it has so many dimensions. I have imaged its flowers before going to seed, also with spiderwebs enveloping its pods, as well as hummingbirds feeding on its blossoms. But this is a first, doing a monochrome study. I kind of like it, without color getting in the way the structure and texture of the branch and pods is really noticeable, no coloration to distract the eye.
Thanks for looking, TucsonJim ;o)
