Up high

I've set aside this weekend to draw together the information we have collected in reviewing a particular incident, so that I can create the first draft of the report.

Got myself outside late in the afternoon, and walked in Cox's Bay Park and then into Bayfield Park. Whether I somehow saw this magpie up high in a conifer, or I just randomly decided to scan the high branches, I looked straight at the broken branch where it was perching. For long enough, it adopted various poses, with head at different angles. I moved on before it moved away, if indeed it did .
