All the fun of the fair!

Every year, the Gyle Shopping Centre plays host to a funfair in the carpark for a couple of weeks. Today when I walked over to the centre to buy lunch I noticed them starting to set up for this years event.

I used to love these types of thing as a child but as an adult, I can't help but worry about the safety of them. They seem to go up in such short timescales, before moving on to the next venue within a few weeks. Can they really be as safe as a permenant site such as Alton Towers (which I LOVE)? I assume there are really strict health & safety rules they have to abide by though so maybe I just worry too much!
