Instead of a walk we spent the morning tidying the house. I've been guilty of not putting maps away after use so that was my first task. They're now all in order.  Perhaps it was fortunate we stayed in as the postman came with a parcel, something I ordered on Thursday and wasn't expecting until next week. 

By 11 o'clock the sun was shining and I decided to cook lunch on the barbecue. That was when I noticed that these flowers had opened up and were attracting insects. Lots of shots taken and a few were sharp. 

In the afternoon I cleaned the barbecue and put it away until Spring. A new fishy meal tonight ....... worked well for a first attempt and as the recipe included wine it meant I could have a glass (or two) while I cooked.
