Chelt Lit Fest

Dilys and Pete joined us for a day at the Cheltenham Literature Festival. We thoroughly enjoyed Kate Atkinson talking about her new book Transcription (which I am half way through). She also mentioned that she has another book already written featuring Jackson Brodie, that got a ripple of excitement going through the crowd.

Then we saw Mary Beard talking about the gender agenda and how powerful women have been treated by history.

The Lit Festival never disappoints but the weather did today with a ten degree drop and lots of rain!
