Day 16. A birthday girl

This our landlady Tserings from Tibet, however she grow up in Pokhara, Nepal in a orphanage. She is blowing her first birthday candle ever. Due a lack of oven, we had to buy a cake, it was not the best cake but we had a lovely evening celebration her birthday with her 11 years old daughter. It is a nice feeling to be around them.

My positives:
1. Tsering have made some fresh chapati for our breakfast.
2. We had a meeting at work and I have a better idea about my role and responsabilities. I need to read lots more about women's movement in Nepal.
3. My tummy is feeling much better
4. We cooked some fishcakes and salad for our landlady

Ella es Tserings ;la duena del apartamento, aqui ella esta soplando su primera vela de cumpleaños, las personas de Tibet no celebran los cumpleanos. Debido a la falta de horno, tuvimos que comprar una torta, no fue la torta mas rica, pero tuvimos una noche maravillosa celebrando su cumpleaños junto con su hija de 11 años . Es una sensación agradable estar cerca de ellas. Ellas son budistas.

Mis aspectos positivos:
1. Tsering han hecho algunos chapati fresco para el desayuno.
2. Tuvimos una reunión en el trabajo y ya tengo una mejor idea acerca de mi papel y responsabilidades. Tengo que leer mucho más sobre el movimiento de las mujeres en Nepal.
3. Mi estómago se siente mucho mejor
4. Preparamos unas croquetas de atun y ensalada para Tserings y su hija.
