Every year the collection boxes appear at around this time in shopping centres for an ever increasing number of charities and food banks.
The Swan Animal Haven is local to the hills and wonderful volunteers care for abandoned dogs and pups and the very skillful walk small packs in one of our favourite dog walking areas.

Thank goodness for those who give so much of their time and energy. A donation of some dog biscuits and a blanket or two seems a very meagre offering.
