GOURDS...WE'VE GOT GOURDS!

We spent a couple of hours at the Ohio Gourd Show this morning. There were lots of crafty gourd projects on display, and a few gourd growers selling their stuff. My sister and I both bought a couple of bags full of dried gourds.

We all agreed that the woman dressed up in the gourd costume was both disturbing and interesting.

After seeing a few more things, we decided to head for home, but a lulu of a thunderstorm kept us from making it. We are holed up in Bowling Green, Ohio...where...45+ years ago...Lisa and I spent our first night as a married couple. How time flies.
