How quickly can a dream turn into a nightmare on holiday?????

Expect the worst: a nano second!

No No NO! Virgin forgot, yes forgot to tell us the hotel we've stayed at several times before which we were booked into for this stay was closed - scream! So last night they dump (literally) us in another hotel and think it'll be cool for us to spend our 2 weeks here instead. Little did they know what would hit them in the orientation meeting this morning.

Welcome to the 2 other couples also caught up in this mistake.

It turns out our Hotel had a fire and so went through a 6 week closure to fix it. We found out that it is due to open the next day and request a taxi over to inspect and confirm if we wish to move there. Seems simple doesn't it but between the hotel and Virgin they left us sitting in a taxi for 45 minutes and then said no due to 'health and safety' reasons!

It's weeing down with rain, big heavy rain about every 30 mins. Aaaarrrh!

Virgin rep is so Green he can't offer anything other than 'Sorry', not good enough, try again.
