The Other Rabbit

This is the second rabbit to take up residence in my garden. I’m guessing it is a male because it is larger and more angular than the first one. He was busy rubbing his face with his dew-wet paws very early this morning, before the lawn daisies were awake.

The two interact a lot, touching noses and bouncing around each other. They love to eat my gazanias.

In the extra shot is the surprise I had when I bent to sniff the newly opened lilac flowers.
