Godfather

The Storyhouse had an afternoon showing of The Godfather. A film I thought I'd seen but hadn't, fully, only in segments thanks to my brother who was a fan. Mrs Tuttle has never seen it before. Paddy saw it years ago. Amazing film. The cast looked soooo young!
It was nice to see that most of the old art deco features within the ex Odeon cinema have remained and restored to its former glory. The staff were friendly and we got free popcorn for the movie!
We headed home via a pub meal at The Mill which was nice. Dropped Paddy off then popped into Sainsburys to buy some new sauce pans. Crazy conclusion to a fine day but that is what happens when you reach a certain age!
