Upstairs Downstairs

The architecture in the villages around the East Neuk is fascinating. All the cottages on the slopes about the harbour are higgledy piggledy, on different levels with tiny alleyways or pends as they are called hereabouts, linking them. It is a wonderful place to explore on my morning dog walks.

Shame about the recycling bins, but hey ho . . . !
