A round of applause please
The weather today could not have been more different to yesterday. The blue skies, gentle breezes and warm sunshine was replaced by lowering cloud, cold northerly winds and unpleasant driving rain.
Just the afternoon to watch a referee then! It was his first game for the Society and his first game since completing the RFU training course. Feeding back on these occasions always has to be carefully judged so as to give some positive points as well as points for development which don’t overwhelm.
It was certainly pleasant to get home and enjoy a warm Saturday evening although not before a trip to Screwfix to buy another under cabinet strip light to replace one that has blown. The new one came with yet another different connector meaning more surgery on the wiring. This light is an LED rated for 30,000 hours which, at 6 hours a day should last 13 to 14 years so I shouldn’t have to replace it anytime soon. Perhaps I ought to bite the bullet and replace the other three?
Today’s blip is in the manner of an emergency blip owing to the inclement weather with no opportunity to get the camera out at rugby.
