Dripping wet

The promised rain arrived around mid to late morning and continued to fall into the night.  To say it is welcome is an understatement, especially for the  pond at the top of our road.  I remained indoors today as it was hardly walking weather.  In any event my walking companion is holed up with Zeus for the next few days as he recovers from his surgery.  Mr MC was obliged to leave the house as he is umpiring a hockey game and apparently they play in any weather!
I did venture into the garden to take a shot of this dripping cotoneaster and  not surprisingly the cats declined to join me!
