Half Marathon

Lots of happy runners during the Rochdale Half Marathon today, the half way point of which was at Hollingworth Lake.  It was noticeable that as the runners passed, and the competitors further back in the race came along, there were more smiles and waves and less grimacing.

After the race, I spotted an interested spectator and then watched the start of a wholly different race.
