Thanksgiving Flowers

It seems everyone in Mexico has hidden talents. Take for example Petra, the woman who cleans our apartment once a week. Turns out she can wander the complex for a little while and then whip together a half dozen flower arrangements for our Thanksgiving table. It is not like there is an abundance of blossoms this time of year, but she managed to combine simple flowers and greenery into creative displays that set a festive backdrop for the delicious food that was to come.
