Peterborough Cathedral

The Soyuz Space capsule that Tim Peake, the British astronaut came back to earth in, is on display in Peterborough Cathedral for a couple of months. This week only there is also this large moon installation with various activities and music. The facade of the cathedral is stunning, and the capsule mobbed and surprisingly modest, but in the end I chose this one which shows the moon and the hanging crucifix. We had a nice walk about the city, then afternoon tea overlooking the cathedral. As a bonus I found a book gifted as part of the #ibelieveinbookfairies movement. A lovely time.
