Monstera Deliciosa

Well here's a strange thing! My Swiss Cheese plant which thrives on abandonment in the end of the conservatory is flowering!! I didn't know they even did. And not once but twice, there's a massive bud to the left. I thought it was just a leaf taking a long time to unfurl when Himself casually remarked as we were lunching - is that a flower?  Heavens - that thing in the middle is its fruit and you can eat it - carefully! Apparently it tastes like pina colada but has to be eaten seriously ripe or it makes  your mouth bleed. Think I'll pass but I bet Ceridwen would give it a go!
