Warwick
It is Ian's birthday on Tuesday so we met him and Maureen in Warwick for lunch at the Giggling Squid, the recently opened Thai restaurant. I had the vegetarian tapas set, green curry, stir fry, Jasmine rice and spring rolls. Very nice, though the rice was a bit boring but spiced up by adding it to the curry. Accompanied by a bottle of Tiger beer.
After lunch we walked over to Market Square where Warwick is holding a chocolate festival. There were lots of stalls and live music, some of the stalls having sold out of their fares. It was a sunny, if chilly, day and the pubs were doing a good trade with people outside with a drink.
After saying goodbye to Maureen and Ian we went for a walk alongside the racecourse on St, Mary's Lands.
